Position Overview:

As a Cloud Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of our healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Azure Cloud Management:
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure environments to ensure high performance, scalability, security, and uptime.
  • Implement best practices for Azure resource provisioning, monitoring, and cost management.
  • Provision new infrastructure resources for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute migration plans, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity throughout the transition.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive healthcare data in the cloud environment.
  • Stay abreast of industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance, particularly in the healthcare sector.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
  • Establish and maintain monitoring systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Respond to incidents, troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring minimal impact on healthcare operations.
  • Ability to be on call or assure critical incident response 24x7x36.
• Documentation and Training:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams to enhance their understanding of cloud technologies and best practices.
• Complete special projects and other assignments as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud administration with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, with experience in healthcare-specific applications and compliance requirements.
• Working experience of automation tools and scripting languages (Terraform, Ansible, Powershell).
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to focus on the success of the team over individual accomplishments.
• Excellent interpersonal, planning, organizational, prioritization, presentation, analytical, problem solving, oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with change management specific to initiating, shaping and managing change.
